WATCH: Bill Belichick breaks down the New Orleans Saints – New Orleans Saints News

Tomorrow, the New England Patriots will attempt to win their first game of the season. Coming off a 42-27 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs on opening night, the team travels to New Orleans to take on the 0-1 Saints. The game is projected to be an offensive affair but it might very well be the two other phases that might make the difference – and a look at the latest episode of “The Belestrator” makes this clear.

As usual, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick joined the team’s radio color commentator and former quarterback Scott Zolak to break down some key players and concepts of the upcoming opponent. This week’s installment starts with a close look at New Orleans’ special teams unit, namely punter Thomas Morestead. Belichick takes a look at the right-legged 2012 Pro Bowl selection and talks about how he is able to consistently flip field position.

Afterwards, the future Hall of Fame coach moves on to talk about the Saints’ offense while placing a particular focus on rookie running back Alvin Kamara and wide receiver Michael Thomas. Belichick mentions Kamara’s versatility and compares him to Darren Sproles and Reggie Bush. He also praises Thomas as a strong receiver after the catch and a dangerous weapon on crossing routes.

Lastly, Belichick talks about New Orleans’ defense with linebacker A.J. Klein and his instincts getting special mention. New England’s head coach also pointed out how the first-year Saints’ abilities to diagnose and subsequently disrupt plays allow others like defensive edge Cameron Jordan to make an impact.
