What are our Dolphins writers expecting on Sunday when the Fins travel to Los Angeles to face the Chargers in Week 2 of the regular season?

I’m worried about the damage Chargers end rushers Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram may do to Laremy Tunsil, Ja’Wuan James and quarterback Jay Cutler. The last thing Cutler needs is to be on his back five times or to give up a sack-fumble in his Dolphins debut. As much as Miami’s defensive line may cause issues for the Chargers, the start to this season has been too much of a whirlwind for the Dolphins. Too much rust. Too much drama.

There are a lot of external factors in this matchup — the Dolphins’ relocation due to Hurricane Irma, the Chargers playing their home opener and first game in Los Angeles since 1960, etc. — but the simple conclusion is Miami’s the better team. Look for a big day from Jay Ajayi.
