The New York Jets made some roster moves on Saturday, activating linebacker Freddie Bishop and defensive lineman Lawrence Thomas from the practice squad.
In response to those moves, the team waived/injured linebacker Edmond Robinson.
Both Bishop and Thomas spent time on the Jets active roster in 2016, with Bishop making 17 tackles after spending the majority of the season on the practice squad.
Thomas played spent three games on the Jets active roster before he was placed on injured reserve with a season-ending shoulder injury.
The addition of Bishop and Thomas give the Jets some much-needed depth on defense as the Jets prepare to take on a dangerous Oakland Raiders offense.
