Preview: Tennessee Titans vs. New York Jets – New York Jets News

The Tennessee Titans travel to New York to take on the Jets for the first preseason game. Here’s everything you need to know.

The Tennessee Titans finally open up their 2017 season with a Preseason Week 1 showdown against the New York Jets.

The Jets are coming off a 5-11 season and have only regressed from a talent standpoint. This is a season in which the Jets could possibly contend for 0-16. They do have a few young players who are worth watching, though, mainly Jamal Adams, Marcus Maye and Robby Anderson.

The Titans went 9-7 in 2016 and are primed to contend for the division title this season. The Titans are looking to make a statement, starting with the first preseason game. Quarterback Marcus Mariota will start the game and play a very limited amount of time.

Where and When

The game will be played at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, although kickoff is usually delayed by about five to seven minutes.

In the local market, the game will be broadcast on WKRN News 2. The commentary team will consist of NFL Network’s Dan Hellie and Charles Davis, while Cory Curtis will complement them as the sideline reporter.
