Eli Manning seems to be enjoying his wide variety of targets
The optimism is alive in East Rutherford thus far as the New York Giants are two days into their 2017 training camp. The team has yet to strap on full pads, which has turned our focus more to the skill players and one-on-one matchups. The two new additions on our offense both got off to quick starts.

Rookie tight end Evan Engram and veteran wideout Brandon Marshall each connected with Eli Manning on their respective first plays on the field. Marshall’s reception lead the way as it was the first play during the 7 on 7 drill. Engram joined the party short there after. This of course, is not a story. Two pass catchers, catching passes. Nonetheless it is nice to see Eli connecting with the teams two new big targets. This is the time where the continuity and timing is built for a quarterback and his receivers.
Odell Beckham continued to do what he does on the field. He made life difficult for the Giants secondary and seemingly made Eli’s life easier by creating great separation on several different plays. Again, no story here, as this is what we expect from the Giants best player. For now,…
