East Fort Myers-based AD Systems creating high resolution board for in preparation of Super Bowl LV
Over the past few days, NFL players have been reporting to training camps.
Their goal? The Super Bowl.
It’s a few years away, but an east Fort Myers company just found out it will be in the Super Bowl.
Or at least its lights will be.
AD Systems which has been in Southwest Florida since 1986, has a contract to create a high-resolution board for Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The company will be working with the Bucs, leading up to Super Bowl LV in 2021 in Tampa.
AD Systems is incorporated under the name Animated Display Systems Inc. (doing business as) AD Systems. It has produced and installed digital displays for Raymond James since its inception in 1998. The company does electronic digital displays, manufacturing and installation of large sign structures.
“Certainly, there’s additional credibility with adding a Super Bowl,” founder Jim Thomas said. “What we do is widely recognized. Vendors are scrutinized just like players are. You have to be at the top of your game to even be considered.
