2017 Falcons schedule previews: The Chicago Bears play host in Week 1 – Chicago Bears News

The Chicago Bears were once one of the great NFL teams, and they may someday ascend to those heights again. 2017 will not be that year.

The Falcons will kick off their season against these Bears. They were a deeply inept team in 2016 that figures to be a little better this year just by adding some offensive talent alone, but they still look like the worst team in the NFC North for the upcoming season. That should make this first battle a relatively simple one for Atlanta, even if the Falcons are on the road.
