The atmosphere for the New York Giants home matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in 2017 just got a lot louder.
In Week 14 when the Cowboys travel to New York for a pivotal division game that should have major playoff implications, the Giants will be wearing their ‘Color Rush’ uniforms. The Giants debuted their classic white color rush uniforms for a road Thursday Night Football game against the Philadelphia Eagles in 2016.
The jersey had “lousy luck” in 2016, as the Eagles topped the Giants after jumping out to an early 14-0 lead. It was the Giants’ only regular season loss in their final four games. The Giants are hoping to reverse that narrative and the stakes can’t get much higher with the two definitive NFC East favorites matched up against each other in Week 14.
In 2016, the Giants swept the Cowboys, including a home Week 14 victory.
The Giants will be wearing a white jersey of any kind at home for the first time since 2000. Before that, the Giants hadn’t worn a white jersey at home since 1987.
